How to get to the south entrance of the Caminito del Rey?

You can reach the Caminito del Rey either by commuter train, getting off at the El Chorro train station, or by car. Don’t worry about parking! You can park for free in the parking area near the La Garganta Rural Tourism Complex, located at the southern entrance of the Caminito del Rey: El Chorro. If you don’t have your own transportation, we recommend booking our Caminito del Rey excursion from Málaga and the Costa del Sol.

Our meeting time is half past one, and we leave the meeting point 15-20 minutes later. Therefore, if you are scheduled to start the activity at 10.30am and the train to El Chorro is scheduled to arrive at 10.35am, don’t worry, you will be able to do the activity without any problem. The official tour of the Caminito del Rey lasts 3 to 4 hours, depending on the pace of each person.

Yes, we recommend you bring a snack and a drink, usually 1L of water, with you for the activity. There is nowhere to shop during the tour.
