MEETING POINT

The meeting point will be at 09:00h in Plaza de la Marina 11, in Malaga city, right in front of the main door of the tourist information kiosk.

Driving 45 minutes from the starting point we will reach the vineyards, where we will have a walk of 30 minutes passing near the olive and almond trees, learning about the production of them.

After the walk through the fields, we will hop back into the van for a short 5-minute trip to the cooperative, where more than a thousand farmers process their olives and grapes into the final products that are supplied to large and small retailers around the world. There, we will enjoy a guided tour through each section of the cooperative, learning about every process and, in most tours, watching it live. This part of the tour is truly magical. The visit to the cooperative lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour at most.

We will visit the room where around a hundred oak barrels are aging the best wines produced here. In this unique setting, we will enjoy a slow tasting that includes: – 3 different olive oils from distinct olive varieties – 5 wines produced by this cooperative, some of which have won international awards. All of this will be accompanied by plenty of delicious food, which can undoubtedly be considered a full lunch.

Enjoy hassle-free travel with our complimentary transport service, ensuring you reach your destination in comfort. We also provide comprehensive insurance coverage, giving you peace of mind throughout your journey. With us, your safety and convenience come first.

FAQs

How many people will be on my trip?

We usually operate with groups of no more than eight people plus a guide per tour—this is the case for 99.9% of our tours. However, on special occasions, such as when an exclusive wine can be tasted for a few days while it’s being bottled, or during any other extraordinary event that’s truly worthwhile, we may open availability for a second van with a second guide. On these rare days (which never exceed five days a year), groups will have a maximum of 15 people divided between two vans, following the route in parallel but meeting at the winery for the joint tasting and pairing session. For example, 40% of our tours in 2024 were conducted with groups of fewer than five people.

Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you let us know before travel that you’ll be arriving late or need to leave before the trips ends, we will notify our team on the ground to best accommodate your requirements.

Yes, if you wish to take the tour in another language (Spanish, Italian, Swedish, or French), it is possible by booking a private tour.
